The Return

Matsubara-san senior came to the lab a few days ago. I saw his back as he walks towards Waki-sensei's office with Nishitani-san. It was the last straw for our lab, if the father and sensei cannot come to a conclusion, I thought Waki-sensei will suspend him and possible expel him since this is his second offense.

After the talk was finished, students began to search the campus for Matsubara-san, because his dad couldn't reach him. We captured him on video at 7am in the morning, but he was not answering his cellphone, email or even at his apartment. We thought he might be in the school library. His father waited for 12 hours until he had to go back.

Waki-sensei came to the student room looking very depressed. She told me that Matsubara-san senior broke down in tears, begging her not to kick Matsubara-san junior out. Sensei budged, being a softy she is.

The day after, Matsubara-san junior finally emailed Waki-sensei to come in for a meeting. Much to my surprise, Waki-sensei told me that he demanded to have 12 hours of lab access everyday. Who is he to make such request? He had broken lab rules many many times, if anything we should cut down his lab time. He was this close of being suspended or expelled. How dare him..

But that's how things sit right now. The rest of the lab has to arrange a shift to open and close the lab room as he can no longer be trusted with the key. What a trouble maker..
