Sitting here on the sofa of YVR International Airport, everything still seems like a blur to me. My life in Vancouver has seemed to have ended and drifting further and further from me.
My parents drove me to the airport. At the airport Wai from UBC dropped by to send me off during her break. After 30 minutes of line-up, we finally checked-in. My parents prayed for me before I stepped into the final check point. It'll be at least a year before I will see them again. There was no crying, weeping. I'm just there for school.
And I am on my own, probably for the first time in my life for real.
